RFA Mounts Bay landing ship goes home after NATO Exercise Steadfast Defender ⚓️

RFA Mounts Bay (L3008) is a Bay-class Landing Ship Dock (LSD) of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, the auxiliary fleet of ships supporting the Royal Navy and Royal Marines in their operations. More specifically, the Bay-class are used to land marines and transport vehicles such as those featured.

Exercise Steadfast Defender is the largest NATO exercise to be held since the Cold War. Over 90,000 troops are participating with over 1,200 combat vehicles, over 80 aircraft and over 50 naval assets from all 32 allies, including Sweden. British Forces vehicles travelled by ship from the Marchwood Sea Mounting Centre in the Port of Southampton.
