How to Build a SCARA 3D Printer - DIY 3D Printer Build - Part 1

This is a DIY 3D Printer build using a SCARA robot arm to build the SCARA 3d Printer. This uses the MPSCARA project from Thingiverse. I built this SCARA robot for an upcoming makerfaire. In my next video I will cover 3D Printing with this SCARA robot ARM 3D Printer. This video covers the construction of the SCARA 3D Printer Robot arm.

This is a great project for STEM teachers and Students as there are minimal parts required for the build. Many of these parts are 3D Printed parts. You can use this as a Robotic Arm or a 3D Printer. With the addition of some servos on the end you can easily control a hand on the end of the arm. This SCARA 3D Printer is two projects in one!
