To her dismay, this cover is a bit special. I anticipate this being the only cover of Julia's that I wrote lyrics for. She's very prideful about writing her own lyrics, so it took a lot for her to concede this one (like having a soul-sucking day job for instance.) I consider this payback for all the times she wrote all the lyrics back when she was more in charge of the channel lmao. OH YEAH. And I was without power for over 40 hours. That was kinda nuts as well. But here it is, after three weeks of pestering Julia about it, it's finally out. I haven't seen the latest episode yet but I got spoiled by some screenshots and I wanted to smash my head into a wall. To be honest, I'm not sure whose perspective this song is from on account of me being a dumbo. I used to think the original opening and ending were from Rika's point of view, but in light of the recent developments in the show, I think the opening is more likely from Satoko's. Don't quote me on this, but I think this might be from Featherine's perspective? Idk I doubt it's Satoko from how it refers to their situation as "a despicable little world." Correct me in the comments if I'm missing something. That's enough rambling anyway, thanks to everyone who waited for this, and I hope you enjoy it!!!
