THE SIGARJAM |Photo Story|

Me and my friend Binod set off for Sigarjam on monsoon without knowing exactly what we would find. Before going on the trip, we did some research about Sigarjam with my Dolakha-based relatives. Even with their advice, only half of the preparation was completed, so we decided to take the situation as it is and take it as an adventure. After three days of intense travel from Kathmandu, passing by the landslide of Campal (small village of Thami community), walking more than two hours from Dandha Gaun to Tare Bhir (a tiny village located at Kalinchowk Rural Municipality) in the midst of the night was an awful experience. Furthermore, we trekked to Bhaise for the entire day, carrying our equipments bag, food, and other items, including highly necessary gum boots which weigh around 30 kg in total. The thrill of finally reaching the Sigarjam's summit was great.
