​Friday Lecture: At the Crossroads with Hecate
When major shifts happen in relationships, work, status, or health, we are in transition, no longer who we used to be in some significant way. This is when we can be at a major crossroads with Hecate, ancient Goddess of the Crossroads, archetype of the wise woman. She sees where you have come from, and which direction each of the two choices will take you.

In this talk, Dr. Jean Shinoda Bolen talks about what it means to be at a crossroads with Hecate: at a choice-point that may shape our lives, when we are on the threshold of what comes next. These are decisions that affect body and soul, our own and others. However, when we are also deciding the fate of others, such as on an admissions committee, a jury, or a voter, it would be wise to call upon Hecate. The use of symbol and metaphor, the importance of dreams, and awareness of archetypes helps us to know which direction is deeply authentic for us. This leads to Individuation or living your personal myth in Jungian psychology.
