Today we’re flying the Aerostar 600 from St. Maarten (TNCS) to the legendary St. Barths (TFFJ)…

And this is where things get serious.

St. Barths is known for having one of the most dangerous and shortest runways in the world, featuring:

Extremely short runway
Steep downhill approach over a hill
Almost no margin for error
Instant braking required after touchdown

Now add the Aerostar 600, a fast and powerful aircraft, and this becomes a real challenge.

Too fast… and you’re off the runway. Too high… and you miss the approach.

Everything has to be PERFECT.
