Deepoon E2 Installation Tutorial (German) Windows 7 / 8 / 10

1. Wir laden die Oculus Setup Datei und den Deepoon Assistant herunter in der neusten Version herunter.

2. Wir starten die OculusSetup.exe und klicken uns durch den Installations-Manager, innerhalb dessen die Oculus Software heruntergeladen und installiert wird.

3. Wir legen und ein Oculus Konto an oder melden uns mit einem bestehenden Konto an.

4. Im Schritt "Connect Your Rift Headset and Sensor" schließen wir die Deepoon E2 über USB und HDMI an den PC an. "Headset HDMI" und "Headset USB" sollten mit einem grünen "OK" bestätigt werden. Einen Sensor besitzen wir nicht, deshalb klicken wir auf "Skip".

5. Wir klicken auf "Skip" oder "Next", bis zur zum Oculus Store gelangen. Anschließend entfernen wir das Deepoon E2 USB und HDMI Kabel vom PC und starten den PC neu.

6. Wir installieren nun den Deepoon Assistant. Die Oculus Software darf dabei nicht gestartet sein! Die Installation ist auf Chinesisch, jedoch verständlich. Bei der Angabe des Installationspfades verbinden wir die E2 wieder mit dem PC. Die Installation läuft nun durch und alle benötigten Treiber werden installiert.

7. Wir starten nun die Oculus Software. In den Einstellungen sollte die Deepoon E2 nun als Oculus DK2 erkannt werden. Weitere Einstellungen lassen sich im Deepoon Assistant vornehmen.

1. Download the Oculus Setup and the Deepoon Assistant in the latest version.

2. Start the OculusSetup.exe, follow the setup and wait until the Oculus Software got downloaded. After the download, the Oculus Software will be installed.

3. Create an Oculus Account or login to an existing Oculus Account.

4. On the window "Connect Your Rift Headset and Sensor", we connect our Depoon E2 to the PC (HDMI and USB). "Headset HDMI" and "Headset USB" show a green "OK". Skip the sensor part, because the Deepoon E2 doesn't come with a sensor.

5. Click "Skip" or "Next" until you see the Oculus storefront. Remove the E2 USB and HDMI cable and restart your PC.

6. Now we install the Depoon Assistant. Don't run the Oculus Software in the mean time! The Setup will be in chinese but you can click through with ease. The device driver will be installed by the Assistant.

7. Start the Oculus Software as soon as the Deepoon Assistant is installed. The Deepoon E2 will show as an Oculus DK2. In the Deepoon Software you can switch between the DK2 Mode or the native Deepoon Mode.
