Resurrecting a Honda Elite After Sitting Abandoned For 15 Years!

I can't begin to explain how much fun I had bringing this 1992 Honda Elite back to its former glory after sitting vacant for 15 years! This scooter belonged to my good friend Parker's Grandmother. She purchased this Elite for $600 back in 2005 and only drove it for a very short period of time before she stopped riding it and eventually pushed it to the very back of her barn where the bike sat vacant and completely untouched until this past Memorial Day weekend!

I was told "It ran when it was parked", so I expected to at least have to tear the carburetor apart to clean any residue from any stagnant fuel sitting in the jets/bowl for such a long time. But sure enough, with a fresh battery and fuel, it started right up! Can't beat it.

After getting the bike running, driving, and (most importantly) looking good, I quickly realized how solid the drivability of the bike was. It's without a doubt a time capsule from '92 and I can't thank Parker and his Grandmother enough for letting me bring this bike back to life!
