High pressure launch 2. Water and Air Pressure Rocket. Far Reach April 2011

Pumped this one up a little over 50 times. I estimate it went about 100 feet high. simple fun. I plan to put a pressure gauge on it in the future and use the air compressor to see how high it can go before critical failure.

As an family activity my kids with a little help from myself built a rocket launcher. Primarily PVC pipe and a bike pump it can shoot a 2 liter bottle of water all the way over our barn. certainly could go much higher. You should give it a try.

Its a great conversation starter. "How was your weekend?" "Pretty good, I built a Rocket Launcher."
