Who is Dennis Rush? His the son of a film editor who worked at Universal Studios. He became a child actor at the age of our years old when he was discovered by James Cagney in the commisary while eating lunch with his Dad in 1957. Cagney hired him to play himself as a child in the film "Man of a Thousand Faces" He then took off for many roles such as one of the Boy Scouths in "Follow Me Boys", a kid in "Wagon Train" and other television shows of the era to include appearances on The Andy Griffith Show as one of Opie Tayor's friends, Howie Pruitt.
