Madame President,
Our organization would like to bring to the attention of august body of Racism in Pakistan, especially related to Sindh and Sindhis.

The Sindh was an independent country for Sindhi people. Currently Sindh is a province of Pakistan. Before partition they were part of British colony and now colonized by Punjab in Pakistan.
Sindhis are people in Pakistan, India and around the world. Their identity is in danger in Pakistan. They are facing racism every day and in every field of life in Pakistan.

Madam President,
We would to bring to your attention a problem which has been overlooked by the international community for a long time: The extensive history of discrimination of the Sindhi people in Pakistan. The Sindhis have been denied fundamental rights and have undergone political repression since the very moment the Pakistan state has been created.

Recently, in UPR many Ambassadors and reprentatives of United Nations Missions, France, Argentina, Norway, Germany, Paraguay, Peru, Spain, Denmark, Ireland, and many others who highlighed many issues in Pakistan especially enforced disapperances, blasphemy laws, death penality, minorties rights, freedom of expression. We wish they were aware of Pakistan’s racism towards Sindhi people.
India mentioned the Sindh for the first time during the UPR of Junauary 2023, and has since been silent about the issue.
Madam President, we would to bring to your attention that the people of Sindh want independence. And it is the responsibility of the UN to facilitate dialogue between Islamad and Sindhi, in order to pave the way to independence referendum.
