Tesla Software review | 2020.28.2 Update | IMPROVED SUMMON | The good/bad news for your Model 3

This review is looking at the latest #Tesla #softwareupdate #2020.28.2. to hit the UK shores. It's the bug fix to software update 2020.28.1

2020.28.2 sees improved Summon as a likely under the hood improvement, as it finally managed my tight garage, and there are potential improvements to how smoothly the car operates in autopilot in terms of acceleration and braking, but I'll let you decide based on the footage.

A slight disclaimer to add, I got the software update 2020.28.1 on Sunday 12th July. I tested it on Navigate on Autopilot, Parking, Driver visualisations, etc. finding nothing had significantly changed from 2020.24.6.4. So made the video saying as such.

I then got home, to find that 2020.28.2 was ready to install, so pretty much repeated the process, to find again nothing had changed, but as I’d already shot the footage, went with the content from 2020.28.1 because for all intent and purposes, they are the same software.

So although this video references 2020.28.1 throughout, I have used and upgraded my car to 2020.28.2 and to the best of my knowledge, both appear the same – at least for the Tesla Model 3, but no doubt small bugs were ironed out.
