Why XCOM's Creative Director Jake Solomon Left Firaxis

In this clip from The MinnMax Show, Jake Solomon talks about leaving Firaxis Games after 23 years to form Midsummer Studios and work on a game inspired by The Sims. Solomon was the creative director for XCOM: Enemy Unknown, XCOM 2, and Marvel's Midnight Suns. As he reveals in this clip, he stepped away from XCOM 2 for 10 months to work on a secret dream project called Dusk for 2K that was a voxel-based game inspired by Minecraft but focusing on animal hybrids.
