Roland Dissects Whiteness In America: White People Don’t Give A Damn About Trump’s Racism, Lying

In the wake of the 2020 presidential election in which exit polls revealed that 55 percent of white women voted for Donald Trump, it is abundantly clear that there is a large swath of Americans that are ok with racism and bigotry.

During Wednesday’s edition of #RolandMartinUnfiltered, Roland took some time to address the elephant in the room, “whiteness”.

The host and managing editor of #RMU bluntly explained that white Americans “don’t give a damn” about Donald Trump’s racism, comments or his lying. They are willfully supporting him and many in the Republican Party because they are white.

Their support of Trump and is ilk in many cases flies in the face of logic as they are essentially voting against their best interests.
