Cascate di San Fele. Basilicata, San Fele: hiking

Percorso: da San Fele, si scende verso il tumultuoso fiume Bradano. Non facile trovare l’inizio del percorso, opportuno seguire la traccia GPS. Si attraversa il fiume sul ponte di epoca fascista, e si risale sull’altra sponda, da cui si vede un magnifico panorama di San Fele, e balconate a picco sul fiume. Dopo un paio di km si è in vista delle cascate e con esse i resti di alcuni mulini. Ritorno a San Fele per chiudere il facile anello

Route: from San Fele, you descend towards the tumultuous Bradano river. It is not easy to find the beginning of the route, it is advisable to follow the GPS track. Cross the river on the Fascist bridge, and go up to the other bank, from which you can see a magnificent view of San Fele, and balconies overlooking the river. After a couple of km you are in sight of the waterfalls and with them the remains of some mills. Return to San Fele to close the easy loop
