PH Retailers Association: We're expecting recovery in the sector to happen in 2022, growth in 2023

Market Edge: The Philippine Retailers Association expects recovery for the sector to begin only by 2022, and growth by 2023. The group's president, Rosemarie Ong, shares they are experiencing a lot of setbacks with customers not able to visit stores, especially for non-essential businesses. She adds the level of vacancy in retail spaces is at 16.6%, the highest since 2002.
