Great Lakes of Ladakh - Tso Moriri and Kyagar Tso | Ladakh | Ep 6

In the last leg of our journey in Ladakh, we were super lucky to have the opportunity to attend the first-ever Ladakh Nomadic Festival in village Korzok at the shores of beautiful Tso Moriri Lake. The Changpas reside on this high-altitude plateau that sprawls in the western and northern parts of Tibet and further extends to Ladakh in India. Most of the regions that the Changpas reside in is quite inhospitable and unsuitable for farming. Thus, the primary occupation for the tribe is the rearing of yaks, horses and sheep.

Not to mention the beauty of Tso Moriri Lake and Kyagar Tso Lake on the route.
