The Omega Seamaster 300m diver reference 2254.50 is bound to become a future classic. It was a victim of the success of the James Bond franchise and teh fact Omega selected the skeletonized variant for him to wear. Although i like that watch as well, I never could get pass the poor legibility those hands have. This on the other hand is one of the most legible watches ever made, regardless of the brand. The long sword hands filled with some of the best lume out there, that can rival Seiko, combined with a matte dial and oversized hour markers make it easily readable in any condition. The Omega 2500 caliber may be just a tuned ETA 2892, but it gives the already perfectly sized watch a reasonable thickness of just 11,5mm, making it feel like an Ultra thin watch compared to some Omegas of today!
Combine those proportions with one of most comfortable bracelets ever, and you can understand why this watch has a lot of potential of becoming a future classic!!
