Manhunt: Evil Calling ITV 1

How murderer Michael Sams escaped from a ring of steel placed around the Pennine town of Glossop in the dead of night with £175,000 cash ransom, on a moped. The film examines Stockholm's syndrome to find out why estate agent Stephanie Slater survived whilst Julie Dart was killed. We talk to the courageous police officers from West Midlands and West Yorkshire Police who eventually cracked the case through solid detective work and the first use of ground penetrating radar to reveal where the cash was buried.
