Vegan Steak Recipe - How To Cook High Protein Vegan Meals

High protein vegan steak:
For the steak:
Wet ingredients:
handful of mushrooms fried
1 onion fried
4 cloves of garlic fried
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp miso paste
1 cup vegetable stock
3/4 cup red kidney beans
1/2 cup water
salt, pepper or any spices you like
Dry ingredients:
2 3/4 cups vital wheat gluten
1/2 cup chick pea flour
Broth: 1 veggie cube or if you have time add in a veggie cube and some mushrooms, onion and garlic to the broth.
Steak sauce:
mushrooms
1/2 cup white wine
4 cloves garlic
almond cream or you can use soy cream or any cream you like
lots of salt and lots of pepper.

How to make the vegan steak:
Fry the onions, garlic, and mushrooms in some olive oil. Once cooked transfer to a blender and add all of the wet ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth. Set aside.
In a bowl add in the vital wheat gluten, and the chick pea flour. mix. Simply add in all the wet ingredients from the blender and mix with a spoon. You will have to use your hands and knead the dough for about 5 to 10 minutes. Once that is done cut a small piece of the dough and place it on to some parchment paper and place another piece of paper on top of the dough. take your rolling pin and roll out the dough as thinly as you like.
To a pot of simmering water add in a veggie cube or fresh vegetables to give your broth even more flavor. once simmering add in your pieces of steak and let them simmer for 1 hour. Once cooked remove from the water and fry them up with a splash of soy sauce or even some butter. Add some salt and pepper.
To another frying you will make the creamy white mushroom sauce. Simply place the garlic, mushrooms, and olive oil into the pan and fry them up. Add the cream and the white wine. Let the sauce reduce by half. This will take about 10 minutes.
Now you're ready to plate your steak! You can have it with fries , mashed potatoes or vegetables. Enjoy!
