Drawing a portrait of a New Orleans trumpet player

Some good friends commissioned me to draw a picture of a trumpet player they had met and seen play at Preservation Hall. This is a charcoal drawing with lots of intentional erasing. And the trumpet tune is my daughter doing a short riff of St. James Infirmary Blues.
