Using Thermal Paste on VRMs???

I just suddenly had thought of using thermal paste on my motherboard's VRMs, replacing the stock thermal pad. Assuming the stock thermal pad was crap seeing as VRMs on the Gigabyte AB350N Gaming Wifi went well over 120C under load when overclocked. Well, let's see how this goes!
