The purpose of today's video is to demonstrate the discrimination feature on the Minelab Gold Monster 1000. This is not a definitive test. It's only one target but we'll see together what it says. You see we got the good old search and rescue coil on. And it's looking undecided, doesn't really know. Have to do a little bit more digging here to come to a conclusion. Let's see what it's saying. Get back in here. Keep going. There's a golden fox up there. All these colors keep tricking me. Telling me it's a piece of trash. Let's find out. I'm going to put the camera down here for a second. Put my glasses on. Oh boy. That had me excited for a second. Had to get to the root of the problem there. Hopefully that's coming out okay. Oh, right there. Look what we got. We got to fix a bit over here. Where's the sun? There it is. That's a chunky, chunky piece of gold and you saw the discrimination on it. Now see what it says when it's right on top. When it's right on top, it seems to be telling me the exact story. But when it's not right on top, it seems to be kind of wavering back and forth in its opinion. So the moral of the story is don't trust your discrimination. Dig every target. This does actually work but you have to be virtually right on top of the target. So good luck and happy hunting.
