In The Boondocks Season 4 Episode 2 — Good Times — the Freeman family hits rock bottom when Ed Wuncler Jr.’s plan forces them to rent out their house to random tenants and move into the garage like broke squatters.

Grandad tries to reclaim some dignity by getting a job at a car wash — but Uncle Ruckus, now the boss, shows him no mercy. After some hard scrubbing, Ruckus fires him anyway because the “car wash brass” is cutting back hours.

It’s official: the Freemans are living the real “Good Times” life — broke, crowded, and humiliated.
