Is The Hitway Bk11m E-bike The Ultimate Van Life Companion? Find Out In This Review!

Full disclosure, this bike was sent to me by the company to test out, and as someone new to electric bikes, I’m excited to try the Hitway BK11M (not the BK12 as I initially said). If you’re curious about e-bikes or interested in a discount, I’ve included a link in the description, which also earns me a commission. This bike was advertised as compact for van life, though the box was surprisingly large. Assembly involved a lot of zip ties, cleanup, and figuring out the instructions, which were a bit confusing. Notably, the bike is foldable but still heavy and bulky, making it unsuitable for those with weight restrictions or shorter than 5’2”. Once assembled, it features large tires great for sand and dirt, saddlebags for storage, a headlight, and a battery that's easy to remove. Overall, it’s an intriguing option for van life, but assembling it requires patience and some tools. Stay tuned for more on how it performs!
