Knowledge & Scepticism (Peter Millican - General Philosophy)

Dr. Peter Millican provides a good introduction to epistemology and some of the general issues. He discusses, among other things, different kinds of knowledge, the traditional definition of knowledge (i.e. knowledge = belief + truth + justification), unconscious knowledge, Gettier cases, the regress of justification and theories of justification (foundationalism versus coherentism), internalism versus externalism, some problems of scepticism, and a bit on the ethics of belief.

This comes from a series of lectures on General Philosophy given by Peter Millican at Oxford in 2010. I thought it provides good introduction to epistemology. Note, I added the slides to the video to make it easier to follow. In any case, you can find the rest of the lectures on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBHxLhKiPKxD0rLnVlq2tcEs2OGqEsnYP

The lectures are available to download in video or audio form at the original source here: http://podcasts.ox.ac.uk/series/general-philosophy
