This video is a detailed description of how to plant a Crape Myrtle. I show how to properly plant a Crape Myrtle in clay soil as well as sandy soil. It is best to cut off the flowers after planting to reduce water use. Crape Myrtles are easy low maintenance plants if planted properly. Crape Myrtles tend to be very root bound in the container.
