Spending Christmas alone is not miserable | Japan Vlog

In Japan, Christmas is a very big "event" despite the fact that the number of Christians here is extremely low. Unlike other countries where people spend Christmas with their families, especially among young Japanese people, we are supposed to spend with out partner. There is almost no religious element to it. And there is even a self-deprecating slang like "Chribochi". It stands for "Christmas bochi," and bochi means alone. So it means Spending Christmas alone :)
But I don't think it's miserable at all to spend Christmas alone. At least I am happy to do what I like to do alone. Anyway, I know Christmas is going to be unusual this year, but I hope you guys find happiness in it. No matter how small it is.
