Direct veneers using Injection Moulding Technique with G-ænial Universal Injectable and EXACLEAR
Direct Veneers using Injection Moulding Technique with G-ænial Universal Injectable and EXACLEAR is easy and gives you a predictable result.
Injection moulding is a technique that allows to restore multiple teeth at once in an easy way and ensures very predictable and beautiful aesthetic results. What is needed is a good wax-up, a transparent silicone like EXACLEAR and an injectable composite like G-ænial Universal Injectable. The transparency of EXACLEAR allows to easily see what and where you are injecting, to efficiently light-cure the composite through the silicone and to easily place it and remove it without breakage. The use of G-ænial Universal Injectable, which has extremely high wear resistance and flexural strength, ensures the result on the long term. The many shades of G-ænial Universal Injectable guarantee very good aesthetic results are easily attainable.
Procedure:
-create a gypsum model based on the desired result. 3D printed material can be used as well
- hydrate the gypsum model to remove any debris and ensure the transparency of EXACLEAR is not compromised
- take the impression of the gypsum model with EXACLEAR
- after setting (extra-orally in 7 min, intra-orally in 2 min) remove the impression and trim as desired
- create access holes in the mould with the G-ænial Universal Injectable tip or with a diamond bur the size of the composite tip and then check the fit
- isolate, etch accordingly and apply the bonding agent
- isolate adjacent teeth with Teflon tape
- Inject G-ænial Universal Injectable. Allow some overflow, then light-cure
- remove the silicone mould and remove the excess
- apply, as described above, for the other teeth
- finish margins and polish with your standard polishing procedure
