less is more: cut my desk smaller

recently i'm learning a lot about interior design. I still can't design well but at least I can recognize bad design. This desk is one of the things I've done before that doesn't make sense spatially. Having a 61-inch desk in a 9ft by 11ft makes it feel really really cramped. I work in my office 8 hrs a day and I am thinking about adding a lounging set up where I can do light reading. With such a large desk, anything remotely comfortable will make the room insufferably cramped.

next on my list is probably to get a better rug, shelf, and a lounge chair with a small table.

still a long way to go but it's going...

Embody chair is really the main star of the show. There are so many pieces from design within reach that I want to get but they are so damn expensive lol
