Where is Bailey’s Boyfriend Going to COLLEGE? *surprise prank*

Most of you guys know my boyfriend, Asa, right?? He’s only 5 months younger than me, and is making his #collegedecision since he is heading to college this coming fall! He seriously had so many schools to choose from… which college do y’all think he picked?

Asa’s first step was narrowing his list of colleges down to his Top 7 schools… Louisiana Tech University, University of Louisiana Monroe, Liberty University, Abilene Christian University, Baylor, Harding University, and University of Mary Hardin-Baylor!

Just a few of the important things to look for when picking which #college you want to attend... the major/program you are interested in, the reputation of the university or college, the location of the school, the cost of the program after scholarships, the school's graduate network, etc.

For Asa, he made his decision 100% independent of me, and we clarified that 1000 times over. I didn't even find out until several days after he made his decision and he told his family. Being #boyfriend and #girlfriend before college should NOT factor into your school choice equation, because everyone's situations are different and decisions should be made with your future occupation and long term goals in mind. Parker and Brooklyn broke up their senior year partly because they wanted to attend different schools and he felt it would be too hard on them to date long distance.

Asa's top priorities were programs in Neuroscience (since he wants to go on to med school), a Christian school (since he's attended one his whole life), cost vs scholarships, and distance from home. His future plans for med school and residency also factored into his decision.

Ultimately, the most important thing about choosing a college is choosing the one that feels right. Discussion with our family and a lot of personal evaluation, including prayer, will help. We will be spending the next several years of our life there, and usually with a major financial investment in our futures, so we should make sure that we feel at home and very comfortable with our college decision.
