Restoring a Rusty Cross-Pein Hammer - Giving This Hammer A 2nd Chance!

This week’s project is a unique Cross-Pein Hammer purchased at a local market. Marked "M3" and "П3И," this Eastern European tool came with a shattered handle and layers of rust, but we saw its potential. Using acid, sandpaper, and a polishing wheel, we restored it to functional glory while preserving its original patina. To complete the restoration, we reclaimed a handle from another tool missing its head, giving this hammer a second chance at life.
