Phil Knight & Nike have made a new purchase. It's formerly the Oakland Athletics. So, the A's won't be going to Las Vegas, they are going to Portland, Oregon.

Welcome to Year 4 of MLB The Show 25 Franchise with the Oregon Athletics.

In MLB The Show 25, I wanted a unique rebuild challenge. I picked the A's, in part, because I love the storyline of Nike purchasing a MLB team. I look forward to seeing the actions of Phil Knight and Nike. Out of respect for the A's history, Knight has decided to keep the same iconic A's logos but their uniforms will be infused with a truly Nike touch. I'm excited about making the A's a dynasty and giving Athletic's fans the World Series Championships that they deserve.
