ME-IR Flight #2 | DA42

Second flight into the IR, I had done about 15 hours of sim time prior to this flight. Flight #1 only entailed general handling in IMC.

This flight entailed some upset recovery and stall training followed by a hold at the Glocuester NDB (GST) in some strong winds which led to the ILS procedure for runway 27 at Gloucester (EGBJ). Following a go around at minima, we then did an asymetric circuit to recap engine failure procedures. Unfortunately we were not cleared to land by our single-engine commital height of 300ft AGL (400ft AMSL) and were forced to go around into the circuit again.
