Norway road trip

2 weeks across Norway's fjords

There really didn't seem to be a bad view in Norway. Some of the best views we saw were just on random roads that we took to get from one place to another. Norway truly is a feast for the eyes.

Our itinerary:
Day 1 - Drive from Oslo to Western Fjords. We stayed at Flateland Camping.
Day 2 - We drove to Lysebotn via the stunning FV337 road, stopped for lunch at Oygardsstolec café, then went down to Lyse Fjord. We then drove 4 more hours to Stay at Røldal Hyttegrend & Camping.
Day 3 - 1 hr drive to the 612m high Langfoss, 1/2 hour drive to Latefossen. Aferwards we went hiking to Bondhusbreen Glacier. It was probably the most beautiful walk we have ever done. Lastly we drove to Måbødalen Camping for the night.
Day 4 - We went to see Voringfossen, then we drove to Steinsdalsfossen - you can walk behind this waterfall. Then on to Tvindefossen, where we stayed the night.
Day 5 - We drove to Stegastein Lookout. We then drove Aurlandsfjellet National Tourist Route and Laerdal Tunnel and went to Naeroyfjord - our favourite fjord in Norway. We then stopped at Stalheim for a viewpoint. And stayed at Pluscamp Sandvik
Day 6 - We started the morning with a visit to Nigardsbreen Glacier and then hiked (almost) to Bergsetbreen Glacier. Afterwards we drove to Briksdalsbreen Glacier and then onto Kjenndal Glacier. Finally to Geirangerfjord and our Airbnb cabin for the next 2 nights.

Day 8 - In the morning we drove to Trollstigen and Trollveggen and then explored the Atlantic Road, staying at Lyngstad.
Day 9 - We drove on a very narrow and terrifying tolled Aursjøvegen mountain road, then on to Amotan Gorge where we stayed for the night.
Day 10 - We drove to Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park, where we went for a hike. This park is known for its musk oxen. Then we drove to Etnedal, where we stayed in a mountain hut.
