Here are a few do's and donts for Low Porosity girls.I hope this video is helpful. Keep in mind everyones hair is different and what may work for me may not work for you. So do you own research as well.. When i mention heat, i do not mean flat ironing and blow drying. Body heat or heat from a steamer

Extra tips- use a higher Ph shampoo 6.0 & up to open the cuticles and also steaming is great for the hair
