I found a cute set of folding camp stools a while back and I've been wanting to make a similar set with some minor changes. They are surprisingly comfortable! It's kind of like sitting in a big bike seat. Here I chose to make the first one in a deep hunter green leather and walnut combo with brass hardware.

The raw edges of the leather are finished with soap and 600 grit sandpaper. It's one way to get a smooth finish...
