This video is almost entirely animated (with the exception of the footage in the background of the ‘Goomba the Quick’ static image where Mario is running, and the footage from Super Mario 64), even in places you wouldn’t think it necessarily (notice Mario’s slightly incorrect color palette throughout). Not one of the ‘secrets’ featured are real, and were all staged for this April fools day special 😉 However we hope you have enjoyed our love letter to the Mario series, and to the NES' magical style regardless!
