This video shows how Denuvo DRM influenced the performance of Rise of the Tomb Raider video game (DX12 version).
In this case Denuvo reduces CPU performance by ~10-15%. The amount of stutters is greatly reduced. So overall gameplay is significantly smoother without Denuvo, especially if you have a budget or mid range CPU. In addition loading times are greatly reduced without Denuvo.
Graphics quality is set to "Very High" in both cases. Resolution is reduced to 600p, shadows are set to "Medium" and DoF is disabled to eliminate GPU bottleneck.
