Kashi Vishvanath Temple is one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. The temple stands on the western bank of the holy river Ganga and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the most sacred of Shiva temples. The main deity is known by the name Vishvanatha or Vishveshvara meaning Ruler of The Universe. Varanasi city is also called Kashi, so the temple is popularly called Kashi Vishvanath Temple.
It is visited by more than 8 million devotees every year. In new developments, the divine shrine has now been restored and beautified with the Kashi Vishwanath Dham project by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government.

मणिकर्णिका घाट वाराणसी में गंगानदी के तट पर स्थित एक प्रसिद्ध घाट है। एक मान्यता के अनुसार माता पार्वती जी का कर्ण फूल यहाँ एक कुंड में गिर गया था, जिसे ढूढने का काम भगवान शंकर जी द्वारा किया गया, जिस कारण इस स्थान का नाम मणिकर्णिका पड़ गया।
