How the FBI Nabbed the 2010 Times Square Bomber
On the evening of May 1, 2010, a bomb was lit in New York’s Times Square. As thousands of tourists and workers were in the area that quiet evening, a street vendor called 911 after he noticed smoke coming from an SUV. Authorities raced to the scene to secure the area and stop the bomb from exploding. Then the chase was on to find out who did it. In this “New York Gritty,” host Sal Bono speaks to the FBI agents who appear on CBS’ hit series, “FBI True” about how they captured the terrorist. The episode of "FBI True" featuring the Times Square Bomber airs Tuesday at 9pm on CBS.
