Reading stabbing: Five teenagers arrested in murder probe after death of 13-year-old

Four teenage boys and a girl have been arrested by police after a 13-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Reading.

Thames Valley Police said the five arrested are aged between 13 and 14 and are being held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

Officers were called just before 4pm on Sunday following reports of a stabbing in Bugs Bottom fields, Emmer Green.

The boy, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
