Have Squatters taken over this empty Blackpool Hotel?

I spotted a mysterious figure hanging out of a boarded up & empty Blackpool Hotel, The Carleton on Abingdon Street North. The whole block, which contain three separate hotels, has been empty for well over a decade and is in a derelict state. I believe the council purchased the Carleton Hotel, but not sure about the rest of the block.
