How I Got Promoted on Webtoon: Hard Truths about Sub for Sub and Building a Following from Scratch

Amazing story? Stunning art? Not enough, and we all know it. Enter, ~self-promo~. I get a lot of questions about this, so here's what I've learned so far about building a following in the form of a six page spoken essay asdjfhsg. I'm by no means a social media expert (clearly!!! since I didn't have a following on ANY social media platform a few months ago). There's no one way to build a readership. These are just my experiences and reflections. I try not to focus on quality of art/story here and instead discuss ways that we can all grow our social media presence.

Technical notes: I'm referring to the algorithm-based front page categories in this video (Rising Stars, Hot Series - where mine was), not the hand-selected ones (staff picks). Also I should mention the Canvas Top 30 charts refresh often, so if you want to stay there you need to upload weekly (e.g. 85 Unseen isn't there right now because I couldn't upload for a week).
