😉I ONLY NEED 3 INGREDIENTS | GROCERY HAUL + HAMBURGER RICE MEATBALL HOTDISH

December is usually a month where I do not do once a month grocery shopping even though it seems like it might save me time. With added get togethers and last minute gifts I find shopping every 10 days or so is easier for me to wrap my head around.

HAMBURGER RICE MEATBALL HOTDISH (my way)
2 pounds ground meat (venison)
chopped onion, to taste
chopped green pepper, to taste
salt and pepper, to taste
beef bouillon powder, to taste (1 tsp.)
1 cup uncooked minute rice
Mix all together and roll into large meatballs.
5 carrots, chunked
3 potatoes, chunked into 6-8 pieces each
1 can green beans, reserve liquid
Arrange vegetables around meatballs.

1 can tomato soup
1 can water
salt and pepper, to taste
may add other spices as well (garlic, minced onion, etc.)
Mix liquids together and pour over meat and veggies. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cover with foil for the second half. Once done baste well. This can be foiled, refrigerated, and then reheated in a slow oven (300) for about 45 minutes or until very hot. Works well for a potluck. I've never used cream of mushroom, but my grandma has a note on her recipe that cream of mushroom soup can be used instead of tomato for a different flavor.
