Pet Owner Testifies on Seresto’s Dangerous Tick and Flea Collar

In 2020, the Hemsleys watched their beloved dog, Tigger, die after using the Seresto flea and tick collar. 

And they are not alone—the collar has been linked to over 2,500 pet deaths.

But instead of pulling the product off the market, an Oversight Committee staff report shows that Elanco and the EPA ignored data showing the harmful effects of the collar, endangering and potentially killing even more pets across the country. 

This is unacceptable. 

On Wednesday, Chair Raja Krishnamoorthi and the Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy held a hearing to call on EPA to right this wrong and pull the product from the market.
