2007-09 Audi Q7 - How to wire a backup camera

MMI2G requires a video interface module to plug into the back of the stock screen. The backup camera would then plug into it. An MMI2G video interface costs $200-$700 online. The $500-700 are usually plug-and-play. The cheaper ones need to be wired into the screen pin connector as well as power and ground.

The cheaper alternative is to buy a monitor online for $20-50 and wire it in. The one I have here is a 4.3 inch screen, which is small, but works fine for me. The online options are usually 4.3", 5", and 7". The way I've wired it in this video allows the monitor and camera to be unplugged and switched out.
