This is a very rare copy of Toy Caldwell playing at Al's Pump House, Atlanta Georgia after Toy left the Marshall Tucker Band with the death of his brother, Tommy. Getting ready to go on tour with his new band, he was playing at a local honky tonk.. and boy would I have loved to have been there. .. This is the best we can enjoy.. what one hell of a guitar player... long live Southern Rock...

In tribute of one of the best Southern Rock Group of my era... Toy Caldwell Tommy Caldwell Jerry Eubanks Paul Riddle Doug, and George McCorkle were awesome MUSICIANS.. unlike today where there are no longer groups but singers with a backup band... sad sad.. but we still have OUR GROUPS.. Long live rock and rolll!
