Safe or Risky? Climbing Stairs During Pregnancy

Walking or climbing stairs during pregnancy is generally safe and even beneficial for expectant mothers. It helps maintain a healthy weight, improves cardiovascular health, and strengthens leg muscles.
However, it's essential to consider your personal health and pregnancy condition. If you have a high-risk pregnancy, a history of complications, or if your healthcare provider advises against it, it may be better to avoid climbing stairs.
If you're experiencing pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any discomfort while climbing stairs, stop immediately and consult your doctor.
Remember to take it slow, use handrails for support, and take breaks if needed. Listen to your body and only do what feels comfortable.
Avoid rushing, especially if you're in your third trimester, to prevent accidental falls or injuries. Take your time and be mindful of your movements.
