Prius P lock or Park lock repair with Red Triangle

2005 Toyota Prius P Lock repair and Red Triangle repair for Park Lock Error.

In order to make this repair, a short piece of wire needs to be routed from the engine fuse block 7.5 amp P CON MAIN fuse to the blue wire on the connector. This wire will supply the required 12 volts to the Park lock and remove the error.

This problem use to only happen in wet weather and now happens all of the time. I believe there is a wire that gets corroded over time and finally fails. This fix has not caused any side effects.

This will remove the Red Triangle and stop the P lock warning.

I only show the battery readings because everyone associates this error to a failing battery. My 12v battery was replaced five years ago and this fix did nothing to the battery readings at the display.

I was not getting any voltage at the blue wire until this jumper was installed.
